Hi there, I'm Sam.
As the founder of Process Therapy, I am a passionate and experienced therapist, dedicated to transforming lives through a unique combination of Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), Strategic Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
With a background in addiction, trauma and co-occurring mental health concerns, I integrate a specialised and targeted blend of therapy to create deep, immediate and long-lasting change in your life.
My mission is to support profound transformation by safely and effectively reprocessing persistent traumatic memories, so you can move forward in life without relying on unhelpful coping strategies or self-destructive behaviours.

During my Master of Social Work in the UK, I specialised in addiction and remained in that field for most of my clinical life.
While travelling, I fell into sales roles to fund my adventures and after settling in Sydney, I quickly became a Sales Director for the world's largest media company. Whilst, enjoying the spoils that a successful corporate role brings, the toll of working outside my values and morals eventually caught up with me. This led to a significant emotional collapse and one that found me seeking the same services I used to offer others.
After a period of recovery, healing and introspection, I returned to Alcohol and Other Drug Counselling with a renewed sense of purpose. Having gained a 360-degree view of treatment options for people whose coping strategies had turned against them; I became determined to offer the most effective methods of care available. This led to further education, studying the latest treatment modalities, working with renowned clinical experts, and qualifying in ground-breaking therapeutic treatment options.
Training under Dr. Mike Deninger was the pivot point of my career. After witnessing the remarkable effectiveness of MEMI, I made it the core of my practice. As one of only 20 accredited MEMI practitioners in Australia, I am currently the only clinical MEMI specialist in Queensland.
In addition, I am a qualified Social Worker, an alcohol and other drug counsellor, a certified Strategic Hypnotherapist, and an NLP Practitioner.
I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals to move beyond trauma and reach their full potential, leaving behind the unhelpful coping strategies they may have adopted along the way, such as substance use and social isolation.
