My Approach
My approach to therapy is shaped by clinical training and professional qualifications, years of experience working in the field of addiction, trauma, and mental health and personal experience of turning to unhelpful coping strategies to get through each day.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck
To hit breaking point and to self-medicate to cope. I’ve been where many of my clients are when they first walk in the door: exhausted, disconnected, and desperate for something that will work.
I offer a holistic approach, using Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), Strategic Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). MEMI is a powerful, evidence-based method that helps your limbic system reprocess trauma safely, without needing to relive or talk through the painful details. Strategic Psychotherapy is a solution focused approach that gets to the core of the problem quickly, exploring how you’re creating and maintaining the issue, rather than why it exists. Clinical Hypnotherapy acts as the vehicle for delivering these powerful changes at an unconscious level. All these approaches are fast, focused, and incredibly effective. Many of my clients experience noticeable changes in just a few sessions.
More importantly, my approach is a collaborative process. You won’t be expected to just talk while someone listens. My work is structured, strategic, and focused on identifying and shifting the patterns that are keeping you stuck. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, substance use, or the ongoing impact of trauma, the focus is always on practical change, not staying in the problem.
If previous therapy left you feeling retraumatised, unseen, or like nothing really shifted, this will feel different.
You won’t be asked to revisit or retell painful memories unless you choose to. My sessions are designed to meet you where you are and to support emotional regulation in real time. My work is targeted, effective, and structured to reduce symptoms, not amplify them.
Most of my clients experience meaningful changes within a short timeframe. This isn’t about staying in therapy for years; it’s about gaining the mental shifts, insights, and tools required to get back in control.
Therapy should be useful. It should help you reclaim your energy, your focus, and your capacity to move forward, not feel like another burden.
If you're ready for something different, a therapeutic approach that is effective, safe and deeply transformative, you're in the right place.
